Moop.me approached Sophisti with the idea to bring a navigation application on the market which makes use of augmented reality on the iPhone 3Gs. Sophisti developed Naviar which can be used to navigate in The Netherlands by typing in a destination and follow the green cable that’s placed on the camera feed. The route moves when the user rotates or flips the iPhone. When searching for destinations the camera image and compass are also used to present the location and distance of several options. The routes are being calculated by Falkplan/Andes.
